Spähend, horchend

My GER 420 (German Drama Production) class is putting on a play this semester! It’s Biedermann und die Brandstifter by Max Frisch. The play is a great allegorical tale alluding to the rise of the Nazis and the way in which the German population chose to overlook the uprising. I get to play a pretty small part (definitely my choosing), a member of the Chor.

In addition to performing Biedermann, we’re also putting on a version of Der deutsche Mittagstisch by Thomas Bernhard with an all-new translation by several members of the class.

The play is open to the public and will be held at UNLV if you’re interested in coming (for more info just send me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can).
