I helped Amber move a treadmill out of Max’s house into some kid’s truck to get it over to her house. It’s not fun having the heavy end of a treadmill resting on your shoulder as you take it down a flight of stairs with a wonderful 180 degree turn in it. Other than that not much.
Oh, I did watch 50 First Dates. That was a shockingly good movie. Every once in a while, mainstream Hollywood puts out a movie that is just amazing to watch, with a good plot line, great dialogue (although this could have been a bit better, it’s only a bit), and an overall good story that’s just a breath of fresh air in this otherwise overcommercialized industry. This romantic comedy was one. And to boot, it stars some pretty good actors, Adam Sandler, and Drew Barrymore. I think that it was seeing this movie out of all of hers that I’ve seen that’s brought me around to thinking that Drew Barrymore is incredibly beautiful. There’s something about her eyes and that smile.
In other news, I can’t wait for school to start. I think that one of the first things that I’m going to do is bring my laptop and update my Gentoo linux distro. I really want to use the newest version of KDE. The improvements in it seem just mind-numbing.
